Variations are for the thread size and are 5/8 or Metric. Another variation is for the light style White Flashing or White Non-Flashing. The clear toe plugs also can have the option of the Rainbow light.

The batteries in the lighted plugs are replaceable. Each light requires 2 CR927 batteries. When replacing the batteries there is a small magnet under the cap and must be put back when replacing the batteries. It sits on top of the first battery under the cap. Batteries go in flat side facing up.
